Challenges/Solutions

Quantum Traffic collaborated with Monash City Council on the Hughesdale Local Area Traffic Management (LATM) study, addressing a diverse area that includes three schools and numerous commercial properties.

The study’s methodology emphasised community involvement by establishing a dedicated community working group and distributing informative materials to the broader community throughout the process. This comprehensive approach ensured transparent communication and meaningful contributions from all stakeholders.

The public consultation throughout the study was conducted online. To ensure effective engagement, Quantum Traffic implemented innovative approaches, such as utilising breakout rooms for focused discussions.

The key output of the study was the preparation of a Traffic Management Plan that was endorsed by Council.

Since the completion of the study, Council has implemented numerous components of the Traffic Management Plan.
