Overview
Services
Quantum Traffic was engaged by Council to prepare a Traffic Impact Assessment Report to assess the car parking, traffic and operational requirements of the site.
The assessment included detailed consideration for overflow parking in the surrounding area.
Quantum Traffic prepared detailed implementation plans for the recommended car parking scheme including sign face design, sign locations and typical installation instructions.
Outcomes/Benefits
Quantum Traffic was able to provide assistance across multiple project stages, giving the project continuity and ensuring consistent quality across the project.
Challenges/Solutions
Following initial work, Quantum Traffic was further engaged to develop an area wide parking strategy for a significant area of surrounding residential streets to limit overflow netball parking demands whilst still allowing for residential parking.
The parking scheme included the development of a standardised restriction scheme (restrictions / times) to apply a level of consistency across the local area.
